The provision of Skills Development training is different from other Skills Development training undertaken by other Departments in Mizoram. Monitoring and evaluation will be conducted for candidates even after placement under DDU-GKY to ensure quality placements and the minimum wage for placement valued as per Cost to Company (CTC) is Rs. 6,000, Rs. 8,000, Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 15,000 for 3,6,8 and 12 months course duration respectively; as a result placement within the State of Mizoram is difficult as the prospective employer were not able to provide the expected wage as per DDU-GKY, hence its is expected that placement will be outside of Mizoram State.
