The mission develop nutritional garden layout design which is suitable for Mizoram condition, preferably in and around of home to meet the dietary requirements of marginal rural households and ensure nutritional self. The layout include list of color crop to be planted depending on the season and spacing requirement for each crop. All livelihoods staff undergoes field demonstration training. The trained staff trained Agriculture CRP at respective block. So, each CRP takes initiative at respective village where training on Mahila Kisan had been done. The basic principles include nourishment of soil health organically, use of local materials, crop diversification and NPM.
